Cargo Insurance

Insurance of goods in transport covers losses and damages suffered by goods during their transport, intended to be traded, or transferred to new owners. In this context the Insured must have insurable interest in the goods or goods subject to insurance, at the time of the occurrence of the damage.
This insurance starts from the time the goods move (loaded on the first means of transport), from the warehouse or place of storage to the place specified in the contract for the commencement of transport or transit, continues throughout the normal transit course and ends with delivery their to the Consignee at the final warehouse.
